After more than a year of shutdowns, you may be getting a little tired of your go-to takeout and Netflix on the couch. Luckily, the city is slowly starting to get back to normal, and venues all around your OMNIA at Town Center apartment are rolling out the welcome mat. As you head out to take in all the excitement in the King of Prussia area this summer, this is a great opportunity to try something new—and that’s just what you’ll find at Morgan’s Brooklyn Barbecue.
Morgan’s, a popular New York-based venue, is expanding to Pennsylvania with its new restaurant, just five minutes from your OMNIA at Town Center apartment. The eatery, which specializes in all things barbecue, fittingly opened its doors on Memorial Day weekend—kicking off the season with the tastes of summer. Morgan’s is a great spot to get back into the swing of socializing, with spacious indoor and outdoor areas, including an expansive patio that seats 80.
Given its focus, the star of the menu are the wood-smoked meats: from pork belly to smoked turkey to brisket. Opt for the half- or full pound and load up on the sides for the true summer barbecue feel: baked potatoes, Mexican street corn, beans, collard greens, cole slaw, salads and more. Mac and cheese is also a standout, with a half-dozen varieties, featuring a range of cheeses, beef, veggies, bacon and much more. Sandwiches, salads, tacos and lots of shareables round out the food menu. Morgan’s also offers weekend brunch, including Southern-style favorites like fried chicken and biscuits and Southwest picks including breakfast tacos and burritos.
Wash down all the spice and cool off on a summer day with the expansive drink menu, including lots of selections from local breweries and wineries, as well as seasonal craft cocktails and a whiskey menu featuring more than three-dozen options.
If you’re looking to celebrate the start of summer, check out Morgan’s Brookyln Barbeque for some new local flavors.
